Berluto DRV 703 / 773 pressure reducing valve, stainless steel, drinking water
Compact diaphragm pressure reducing valve in stainless steel 1.4408 with plastic inner parts, female thread G 1/2" to G 1 1/4" (or male thread R with the -R version), inlet up to 16 bar, outlet 1.5 to 6 bar (703) or 0.5 to 4 bar (773), EPDM seals, for aggressive water and drinking water up to 75 °C.
The DRV 703 / 773 is the stainless steel counterpart of the red bronze DRV 303 / 373: a compact reducer with a cast 1.4408 body, plastic bonnet and plastic wetted inner parts, for aggressive water and drinking water. Inlet pressure is 16 bar and the EPDM seals limit the medium temperature to 75 °C.
The 703 sets 1.5 to 6 bar outlet, the 773 0.5 to 4 bar, in four sizes from DN 15 to DN 32. Diaphragm control with pressure compensation, an integrated strainer, a replaceable cartridge and G 1/4” gauge ports on both sides are standard. The datasheets state the ISO 228 and ISO 7 connections “with ELL and W270”, the German elastomer drinking water listing; a formal DVGW type approval is published only for the red bronze DRV 403-6.
The -R version has male thread ISO 7 (R 1/2” to R 1 1/4”); its datasheet is attached below.
