Berluto DRV 702 / 708 pressure reducing valve, stainless steel
Diaphragm pressure reducing valve in stainless steel 1.4408 with female thread G 1/2" to G 2" (or male thread R with the -R version), inlet up to 40 bar, outlet 1.5 to 6 bar (702) or 1.5 to 10 bar (708), for aggressive liquids, air and neutral gases.
The DRV 702 / 708 is Berluto’s standard stainless steel pressure reducing valve with threaded connections. Body and bonnet are cast stainless steel 1.4408, the wetted inner parts 1.4404, so the valve suits aggressive water, demineralised water, other aggressive liquids and, with EPDM seals of FDA conformity, food and pharmaceutical duties. Air and neutral gases are covered at higher flow rates.
Diaphragm control with inlet pressure compensation keeps the outlet pressure steady when the supply varies. The 702 sets 1.5 to 6 bar, the 708 1.5 to 10 bar, from up to 40 bar inlet in all sizes G 1/2” to G 2”. An integrated strainer protects the seat and the complete inner assembly is a replaceable cartridge, for which Berluto offers maintenance cartridge sets. Gauge ports G 1/4” sit on both sides.
The -R version has the same internals with male thread ISO 7 (R 1/2” to R 2”) instead of female thread; its datasheet is attached below.
