Berluto DRV 472 / 478 wide-range pressure reducing valve, male thread
Wide-range diaphragm pressure reducing valve in red bronze with male thread and union nuts R 1/2" to R 2 1/2", inlet up to 40 bar, outlet 0.5 to 4 bar (472) or 0.5 to 9 bar (478), for water, neutral liquids, air and neutral gases.
The DRV 472 / 478 is the wide-range reducer of Berluto’s male-thread 4xx series. A larger diaphragm and softer springs let it hold outlet pressures from 0.5 bar while accepting up to 40 bar inlet; the 472 covers 0.5 to 4 bar, the 478 0.5 to 9 bar. Union nuts on both sides make removal from the line simple.
Seven sizes from R 1/2” to R 2 1/2” give Kvs values from 2.9 to 17 m³/h. Sizes to DN 32 take 40 bar inlet, DN 40 and above 25 bar. Inlet pressure compensation, continuous adjustment, an integrated strainer, a replaceable cartridge and G 1/4” gauge ports are standard. NBR, EPDM or FKM seals cover −30 °C to +190 °C, with a high-temperature version using FKM and brass internals.
