Berluto DRV 424 / 425 high-pressure reducing valve, male thread
Piston-controlled pressure reducing valve in red bronze with male thread and union nuts R 1/2" to R 2 1/2", inlet up to 40 bar, outlet 1.5 to 12 bar (424) or 2 to 20 bar (425), for water, neutral liquids, air and neutral gases.
The DRV 424 / 425 is the piston-controlled high-pressure reducer of Berluto’s male-thread 4xx series. The piston tolerates pressure surges better than a diaphragm and allows outlet pressures up to 20 bar: the 424 covers 1.5 to 12 bar, the 425 covers 2 to 20 bar. Union nuts on both sides make the valve easy to remove from the line.
Seven sizes from R 1/2” to R 2 1/2” give Kvs values from 2.9 to 17 m³/h. Sizes to DN 32 take 40 bar inlet, DN 40 and above 25 bar. The valve compensates for inlet pressure changes, has an integrated strainer, a replaceable cartridge and G 1/4” gauge ports on both sides.
NBR, EPDM or FKM seals cover −30 °C to +190 °C; a high-temperature version with FKM and brass internals is available.
