Berluto DRV 403 / 473 pressure reducing valve, DVGW drinking water
DVGW type-approved diaphragm pressure reducing valve in red bronze with plastic inner parts, male thread with union nuts R 1/2" to R 1 1/4", inlet up to 16 bar, outlet 1.5 to 6 bar (403) or 0.5 to 4 bar (473), for drinking water and neutral liquids up to 75 °C.
The DRV 403 / 473 is Berluto’s drinking water reducer. It shares the red bronze body, plastic bonnet and Hostaform C inner parts of the female-thread DRV 303 / 373, but comes with male thread and union nuts, and the 403-6 version carries a DVGW type approval, valid until 2028, which is what most drinking water specifications in Germany and the Benelux ask for.
Inlet pressure is 16 bar; the 403 sets 1.5 to 6 bar outlet and the 473 0.5 to 4 bar. Diaphragm control with inlet pressure compensation, an integrated strainer, a replaceable cartridge and gauge ports on both sides are standard. Medium temperature is limited to 75 °C with EPDM or FKM seals.
