Berluto DRV 324 / 325 high-pressure reducing valve
Piston-controlled pressure reducing valve in red bronze, female thread G 1/2" to G 2", inlet up to 40 bar, outlet 1.5 to 12 bar (324) or 2 to 20 bar (325), robust against pressure surges, for water, neutral liquids, air and neutral gases.
The DRV 324 / 325 is the high-pressure member of Berluto’s red bronze threaded family. A piston replaces the diaphragm as the control element, which allows outlet pressures up to 20 bar and makes the valve far less sensitive to pressure surges and water hammer. Body, strainer, cartridge principle and gauge ports are shared with the DRV 302 / 308.
The 324 covers 1.5 to 12 bar outlet, the 325 covers 2 to 20 bar. DN 15 to DN 32 take 40 bar inlet, DN 40 and DN 50 take 25 bar. Outlet pressure is adjusted continuously at the handwheel and the valve compensates for changes in inlet pressure.
Seals in NBR, EPDM or FKM set the temperature range; a high-temperature version with FKM and brass internals is rated to 190 °C.
Selection data we need
Medium and temperature, minimum and maximum inlet pressure, required outlet pressure, flow rate or Kvs, connection size and thread standard, seal material.
Applications
- Higher outlet pressures up to 20 bar
- Lines with pressure surges where a diaphragm valve would suffer
- Water and neutral, non-sticky liquids
- Compressed air and neutral gases at higher flow rates
