Berluto DRV 235 high-pressure reducing valve, flanged, compact
Compact piston-controlled reducing valve in red bronze with PN 40 flanges DN 8 to DN 50, inlet up to 40 bar, outlet 1.5 to 20 bar, for compressed air, neutral gases and water at small flow rates.
The DRV 235 is the flanged high-pressure valve of Berluto’s compact 2xx series. Piston control makes it insensitive to pressure surges and allows 40 bar inlet with 1.5 to 20 bar outlet in all sizes from DN 8 to DN 50, with PN 40 flanges. The reduction ratio is 6:1, so a very large drop should be split over two valves.
The inner parts form a replaceable cartridge, gauge ports G 1/4” are on both sides, and the NBR seals suit compressed air, neutral gases and water up to 100 °C. Kvs values run from 0.5 to 7.2 m³/h.
