Berluto DRV 225 / 226 high-pressure reducing valve, compact
Compact piston-controlled reducing valve in red bronze, female thread G 1/4" to G 2", inlet up to 60 bar, outlet 1.5 to 20 bar (225) or 20 to 45 bar (226), for compressed air, neutral gases and water at small flow rates.
The DRV 225 / 226 is the high-pressure valve of Berluto’s compact 2xx series and the highest-rated reducer in the programme. Piston control makes it robust against pressure surges and allows the 226 to take 60 bar inlet and deliver 20 to 45 bar outlet in sizes up to DN 25. The 225 takes 40 bar inlet and covers 1.5 to 20 bar outlet across all sizes from G 1/4” to G 2”.
The reduction ratio is limited to 6:1, so a large pressure drop is best taken in two stages. Inner parts are a replaceable cartridge, gauge ports G 1/4” are on both sides, and the NBR seals suit compressed air, neutral gases and water up to 100 °C.
