Dyna-Flo 570S slurry control valve

The 570S is the 570 rebuilt for erosive slurries. Flow is reversed so the abrasive stream hits the hardest parts first, and the ball, seat and body liner are made of high chrome iron or ceramic. Shutoff is Class I, which is what a slurry valve realistically achieves; the point is to keep throttling for months instead of weeks.

Selection data we need

Medium and its properties, inlet and outlet pressure, flow rate at minimum, normal and maximum conditions, temperature, allowable noise level, required shutoff class, pipe size and rating, actuator air supply and control signal, and any fail position. We size the valve and actuator in Dyna-Flo’s FloSpec software.
