Segmented ball rotary control valve, 1" to 24", ASME Class 150 to 600, flanged or wafer, shutoff Class II to VI, high capacity with wide rangeability.
A segmented ball valve gives roughly twice the capacity of a globe valve of the same size and a rangeability of 300:1, in a compact wafer or flanged body. The 570 series uses a shearing V-notch edge that cuts through fibres and solids, which made it the standard control valve in pulp and paper and keeps it useful anywhere the medium is dirty.
It is driven by DFR spring and diaphragm or DFRP piston rotary actuators, and is available from 1” to 24” in ASME Class 150 to 600.
Selection data we need
Medium and its properties, inlet and outlet pressure, flow rate at minimum, normal and maximum conditions, temperature, allowable noise level, required shutoff class, pipe size and rating, actuator air supply and control signal, and any fail position. We size the valve and actuator in Dyna-Flo’s FloSpec software.
