GOETZE 6450 diaphragm safety valve with stainless steel inlet and enlarged outlet
Angle safety valve with stainless steel 1.4404 inlet body, gunmetal outlet one size larger and diaphragm, 1/2" to 2" inlet with 3/4" to 2 1/2" outlet, BSP, NPT or clamp inlet, 0.5 to 16 bar, −50 °C to +205 °C, ASME UV, ACS and WRAS approved.
The 6450 is the enlarged-outlet version of the 6420: stainless steel 1.4404 inlet body and wetted internals, gunmetal outlet body one nominal size larger than the inlet, and a moulded diaphragm between medium and spring housing. Inlets run from 1/2” to 2” with outlets from 3/4” to 2 1/2”, at set pressures from 0.5 to 16 bar; the larger outlet suits steam and gas duty where discharge-line back pressure matters.
Inlet connections are BSP, NPT or DIN 32676-B clamp. The approval set matches the rest of the diaphragm family: PED, TÜV type test, ASME UV, CRN, KGS, ACS, WRAS and DVGW hygiene, and the main classification societies.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and connection (BSP, NPT or clamp), seal and diaphragm material and whether a lifting lever is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
