GOETZE Hygienic 4100 stainless steel safety valve DN 40 to DN 100

Hygienic angle safety valve in stainless steel 1.4404 / 1.4408 with elastomer diaphragm, DN 40 to DN 100 with clamp or DIN 11851 connections, 0.4 to 16 bar, −40 °C to +200 °C, separate gas and liquid versions, pneumatic lifting for CIP/SIP.

The Hygienic 4100 is GOETZE’s newest large hygienic safety valve, DN 40 to DN 100 with inlet and outlet of the same size, for tanks and process lines in food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical plants. It follows the Clean design rules: stainless steel body finished below 0.75 µm, a moulded diaphragm that keeps the spring housing out of the product space, exposed and rinsed seals with no gaps, and a body that drains without puddles.

Unlike the 4000 it is ordered as a gas version or a liquid version, sized for the medium it protects. A pneumatic lifting device lifts the disc for CIP and SIP; a lever or no lifting device are the alternatives. Connections are DIN 32676 clamps or DIN 11851 dairy fittings, seals FKM or EPDM with FDA and USP listings, and the valve is type tested under PED and TÜV 24-1213.

Selection data we need

Medium and state (gas or liquid version), set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, size, connection type and pipe standard, seal material, surface finish requirement and whether a pneumatic lifting device is needed. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.

Applications

  • Food and dairy industry
  • Breweries and beverage plants
  • Pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, medical technology
  • Clean-service processes, vessels and pipework for air, gases and liquids
