GOETZE Hygienic 4060 stainless steel safety valve with pipe connections
Hygienic angle safety valve in stainless steel 1.4435 with DN 25 pipe connections on inlet and outlet for orbital welding, 0.4 to 16 bar, −40 °C to +200 °C, dead space ratio L/D ~ 0.9, pneumatic lifting for CIP/SIP, ASME UV and CRN approved.
The Hygienic 4060 is the weld-in member of GOETZE’s Clean range: DN 25 pipe stubs on inlet and outlet for DIN 11850 tube, so the valve is welded into hygienic pipework without clamps or couplings and their seals. That gives a dead space ratio of about 0.9 and one fewer product-contact joint.
Otherwise it is the same valve as the 4020 and 4040: body and wetted parts in 1.4435 finished below 0.75 µm, a moulded diaphragm between product and spring housing, gap-free FKM, EPDM or HNBR seals with FDA and USP listings, a pneumatic lifting device for CIP and SIP, and set pressures from 0.4 to 16 bar. Approvals include PED, TÜV type test 2111, ASME UV and CRN.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, pipe standard and wall thickness, seal material, surface finish requirement and whether a pneumatic lifting device is needed. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Welded hygienic pipework in the food and dairy industry
- Breweries and beverage plants
- Pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, medical technology
- Clean-service processes for air, gases, steam and liquids
