Compact spring-loaded relief valve with threaded, flanged, socket weld or sanitary connections, 1/2x1" to 1-1/2x2-1/2", orifice areas 0.068 to 0.573 sq in, 15 to 6500 psig, ASME Section VIII and XIII, ISO 4126-1.
The 2700 is the small valve in the Farris range: one design for air, steam, vapour and liquid, with a 316 stainless body as standard and a fixed blowdown that simplifies testing. Inlet sizes run from 1/2” to 1-1/2”, set pressures to 6500 psig, and the connection options cover everything from plain NPT to socket weld, flanged, sanitary and VCR.
The balanced design isolates the upper chamber so variable back pressure does not shift the set point, without a bellows, in the C and D orifices. O-ring seats give zero bubbles per minute at 90 percent of set pressure per API 527, and a bolted bonnet version is available where a fixed flange orientation is needed.
