BS&B XB high pressure forward acting disk

Scored forward acting disk for high pressures, 4.1 to 414 bar in DN25 to DN600, 85 % operating ratio, non-fragmenting, vacuum resistant. For gas and liquid.

Above the range of reverse buckling disks, the XB carries the scored forward acting design up to 414 bar while keeping the two properties that matter most at high pressure: a non-fragmenting opening and an 85 % operating ratio. That combination allows the XB to isolate high-pressure safety relief valves and to run close to its burst pressure without fatigue problems.

It is standard on high-pressure reactors and compressor systems, in sizes from DN25 to DN600, and mounts in the NF-7RS, NFI-7RS and NX-7R safety heads.
