BS&B Saf-T-Graf RE / REL / REV replaceable graphite disk

Two-piece graphite disk with a replaceable bursting element in a reusable graphite holder, 0.1 to 30 bar in DN15 to DN600. REL with fluoropolymer liner, REV with vacuum support.

Where graphite disks are replaced often, the two-piece RE design lowers the cost of each change-out: only the thin bursting element is renewed, while the machined graphite holder stays in service. The holder installs between standard flanges like a monoblock disk.

The REL adds a fluoropolymer liner for media that attack graphite, and the REV includes a vacuum support for burst pressures below 1.52 bar where vacuum can occur. All variants are made from the same resin-impregnated graphite as the monoblock range.

The first back-pressure independent reverse buckling disk: variable back pressure up to 2 bar has no effect on the burst pressure. DN25 to DN250, 3.45 to 34.5 bar, 90 % operating ratio, non-fragmenting.
