BS&B Saf-T-Graf FSM / AFSM graphite disk

Graphite disk with the membrane at the inlet face for reverse-flow and bidirectional-capable installations, 21 mbar to 69 bar in DN15 to DN600, vacuum resistant. AFSM armoured.

The FSM is a monoblock graphite disk in which the bursting membrane sits at the inlet face and is supported by the body against pressure from the outlet side. It offers the same wide burst range and vacuum resistance as the IMB but with the opposite orientation, which matters when the process connection geometry or the flow direction in a vent header dictates where the membrane must sit.

Like every Saf-T-Graf disk it installs between standard flanges without a safety head, and the AFSM armoured version is recommended for protection during handling and installation.
