BS&B FRS / FRL reverse buckling disk

Reverse buckling disk for the smallest line sizes, DN25 and DN50, burst pressures 0.8 to 10.3 bar. FRS for gas service, FRL for liquid service.

Small relief points deserve the same non-fragmenting, full-vacuum-rated protection as large vessels. The FRS (gas) and FRL (liquid) bring the Sta-Saf reverse buckling design to DN25 and DN50 at burst pressures from 0.8 to 10.3 bar, in the same pre-torqued safety heads as the larger disks.

The gas/liquid split matters at these sizes: liquid-full systems have no compressible volume to drive the reversal, and the FRL is engineered for exactly that condition. Tell us what is on the process side of the disk and we will select the right one.

The first back-pressure independent reverse buckling disk: variable back pressure up to 2 bar has no effect on the burst pressure. DN25 to DN250, 3.45 to 34.5 bar, 90 % operating ratio, non-fragmenting.
