BS&B Vac-Saf AV gasketed disk

Low-pressure disk with bonded gaskets that installs directly between flanges without a safety head, 35 mbar to 10.35 bar, DN50 to DN1050. Non-fragmenting.

The AV is the simplest way to put a rupture disk on a low-pressure system. Gaskets are bonded to both faces of the disk, so it is clamped directly between the companion flanges: no safety head, no torque sequence, no extra parts. Sizes run all the way to DN1050, which makes it a favourite for silos, dust collectors and large vent ducts.

It relieves from as low as 35 mbar and is available with an optional vacuum support for one-directional duty. The AV opens without fragmentation; where it serves as an outlet-side disk on a safety valve, it keeps the valve body clean without adding a holder.
