Jerguson Series 90 steam jacketed safety ballcheck valves
Jacketed union bonnet gage valves for heated or cooled gages, jacket rated 600 WSP with four 1/4" tapped connections, body up to 4000 psi (275.8 barg) at 100 °F.
The Series 90 is made for heated or cooled glass gages. A jacket surrounds the valve body so the heating or cooling medium circulates around it, keeping the valve at the same temperature as the gage. Four 1/4” tapped holes in the jacket connect to the supply and to the tracing tube of the gage.
Like the other Jerguson ballcheck valves it has a stainless steel ball upstream of the seat that shuts off the flow if the gage fails, a union tank connection with a spring clip that holds the ball, and a seat that can be reground or replaced. The No. 94 has a union gage connection for turning or removing the gage without draining the vessel.
Selection data we need
