Jerguson Series 140 integral bonnet safety ballcheck valves

Economical integral bonnet gage valves with stainless steel stem and ballcheck and a wide choice of connections, up to 2400 psi (165.5 barg) at 100 °F; not recommended for steam.

The Series 140 gives long, trouble-free service at an economical cost. The bonnet screws directly onto the outside of the forged body, and stem and ballcheck are stainless steel. A comprehensive choice of connections fits most piping requirements.

The ball sits upstream of the seat and shuts off the flow instantly if the gage fails; it can be omitted on request. The union tank connection makes installation simple and gives access to the ball. Nos. 144 and 147 have a union gage connection so the gage can be turned or removed without draining the vessel, and the offset Nos. 146 and 147 allow swabbing through the vent or drain plug. The Series 140 is not recommended for steam.
