Jerguson Series 70BL / 70XL bolted bonnet safety ballcheck valves, Class 600

Rugged, lightweight bolted bonnet OS&Y gage valves with backseating stem, ratings above ASME Class 600, low emission to API 624, carbon steel up to 3000 psi (206.8 barg) at 100 °F, 750 WSP steam.

The 70BL and 70XL are rugged, lightweight bolted bonnet valves for flat glass gages, instrument piping and similar duties, with pressure-temperature ratings above ASME Class 600. They are low emission certified to API 624 as standard.

The OS&Y yoke holds the stem away from the body, so the threaded part stays out of the heat and the process fluid. The backseating stem allows repacking under pressure and protects the packing. On the 70BL a stainless steel ball upstream of the seat shuts off flow if the gage fails; the 70XL has no ball. Union gage connections (74BL, 77BL) let the gage be rotated or removed without draining the vessel, and offset bodies allow swabbing through the vent or drain plug.
