KITO KA-IIB3 condensate drain flame arrester

Deflagration-proof condensate drain for flame arrester and valve housings, explosion group IIB3, 1/2" connection.

Condensate collecting in a flame arrester housing reduces the free element area and can freeze in winter. The KA-IIB3 is a drain fitting with its own deflagration-proof element, so the housing can be drained without opening a flame path to atmosphere.

It is approved for explosive vapour-air and gas-air mixtures of explosion group IIB3 and fits the 1/2” drain connection of KITO housings.

Medium and explosion group (or MESG), nominal size and connection standard, operating pressure and temperature, flow rate, material and required accessories (temperature sensor, heating sleeve).
