KITO FDN-Det4 angular in-line detonation flame arrester

Angular in-line detonation flame arrester with shock absorber for explosion groups IIA1 to IIB3 in DN25 to DN100, unidirectional detonation protection, flow in both directions.

The FDN-Det4 is an angled detonation arrester: inlet and outlet are at 90°, and the shock absorber section on the inlet side breaks the detonation front before it reaches the element. Detonation protection is unidirectional, while normal flow is possible in both directions.

KITO recommends it for the connection of a fixed-roof tank to a vapour recovery line, typically together with a VD/TA in-line pressure or vacuum relief valve.

Medium and explosion group (or MESG), nominal size and connection standard, operating pressure and temperature, flow rate, material and required accessories (temperature sensor, heating sleeve).
