KITO EFA-Det4 in-line detonation flame arrester

In-line detonation flame arrester for stable and unstable detonations, explosion groups IIA1 to IIC in DN25 to DN400, short-time burning proof, for vapour recovery and vent headers.

The EFA-Det4 is KITO’s general-purpose in-line detonation arrester. It is tested for stable and unstable detonations, so it can be installed anywhere in a pipeline regardless of the distance to the ignition source, and it protects in both directions of flow.

The housing carries a shock absorber and a replaceable element. Explosion groups up to IIC and temperatures up to 250 °C cover most vapour recovery, vent header and flare line duties in chemical plants and tank farms.

Selection data we need

Medium and explosion group (or MESG), nominal size and connection standard, operating pressure and temperature, flow rate, material and required accessories (temperature sensor, heating sleeve).
