Jacoby-Tarbox S-5100 / S-5400 threaded sight window

Threaded sight windows for viewing in any position: S-5100 female threaded 1" to 6" and S-5400 male NPT 1" to 3" with two borosilicate windows, 150 psig (10.3 bar) up to 500 °F.

Jacoby-Tarbox makes threaded sight windows with both female and male connections. The S-5100 has a female thread and is turned onto the end of a pipe to give a view in any position. The S-5400 is a male NPT plug with a hex, which screws into a threaded outlet on a tank or piece of equipment.

The S-5400 holds two borosilicate windows with fibre cushions behind a retainer and is rated 150 psig from −20 °F to 500 °F in carbon steel, 316 stainless steel or brass. For higher pressures, specialty UniGlas sight plugs are made up to 4000 psig (275 bar).
