Jacoby-Tarbox Bulls-Eye 910-FA flanged sight flow indicator, Class 150

Full ASME rated flanged bulls-eye sight flow indicator, ASME Class 150 up to 290 psig (20 bar), plain, flapper, rotor, drip or gas indicator, 1/2" to 16", designed to ASME B31.1 and B31.3.

The flanged Bulls-Eye is the standard Jacoby-Tarbox sight flow indicator for Class 150 piping. It is designed to the yield criteria, materials and pressure-temperature rules of ASME B31.1 and B31.3, with only ASTM listed metals in bodies, fasteners and retainers, and every unit is hydrotested.

The view matches or exceeds the pipe inside diameter. Plain, flapper and drip models have no internal restriction smaller than the pipe bore, so the pressure drop stays minimal. The insert decides what the operator sees. The plain 910-FA(NF) shows whether liquid is present. The flapper (910-FA) moves with the flow. The PTFE rotor (935-FA) turns faster as velocity rises. The drip tube (608-FA) shows condensing gases or partly full lines, and the lightweight gas indicator (910-FA-GI) shows gas flows and low liquid velocities.

For hazardous or aggressive service the standard tempered borosilicate window can be doubled (FM approved dual window, four discs per unit), protected with a bonded PFA UniShield, or replaced by UniGlas, glass fused into a metal ring.

Selection data we need

Pipe size and flange class, medium, design pressure and temperature, flow direction (horizontal, vertical up or down), the indicator type, body and gasket material, window option, and whether PED or CRN marking is needed.

Applications

  • Drain, lube, hydraulic and condensate lines
  • Return and food lines
  • Checking colour, clarity, air entrainment and interfaces
  • Condensing gases and partly full liquid lines (drip model)
