GOETZE 861 gunmetal angle safety valve 1/4" to 1/2"
Small angle safety valve with stainless steel inlet body and gunmetal outlet, 1/4" to 1/2" inlet with 1/2" outlet, 0.5 to 50 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, open or gastight bonnet, for gases, vapours, steam and liquids.
The 861 is the copper alloy sibling of the 461: the same small angle valve with 1/4” to 1/2” inlet and 1/2” outlet, with a stainless steel 1.4404 inlet body, a gunmetal outlet and brass internals. Set pressures run from 0.5 to 50 bar, which covers compressors, small boilers, pump sets and autoclaves where the medium tolerates brass.
It comes with an open bonnet and twist-type lifting mechanism or lever for neutral media, or with a gastight bonnet without lifting device for non-neutral media and for combined gas and liquid duty. Seals are PTFE, or PTFE-carbon above 25 bar, for −60 °C to +225 °C. The valve is type tested for steam, gases and liquids and approved by the main classification societies.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and bonnet version (open with lifting device, or gastight). For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Pressure vessels and systems for gases, vapours and liquids
- Steam and industrial boiler plants
- Pump protection and pressure booster systems
- Mechanical engineering, sterilizers and autoclaves, shipbuilding
