GOETZE 812 brass high-capacity safety valve, atmospheric discharge
High-capacity cylindrical brass safety valve with atmospheric discharge, 1/2" to 2" male thread, 0.2 to 50 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, for compressed air and neutral, non-toxic, non-flammable gases; ASME UV, CRN, KGS and Deutsche Bahn approved.
The 812 is the high-capacity brass valve for compressed air: the same cylindrical atmospheric-discharge body as the 810 but with a larger lift, for receivers, boosters and pneumatic systems in 1/2” to 2” that need more relieving capacity. Set pressures run from 0.2 to 50 bar with NBR, FKM, EPDM or PTFE seals.
The body is brass CW617N with brass and stainless steel internals and a stainless steel sealing cap; the inlet thread is BSP, BSP-T or NPT, with or without the twist-type lifting mechanism. Approvals cover PED, TÜV type test 2003, ASME UV, CRN, KGS, KOSHA, a Deutsche Bahn type approval and the marine classification societies.
Selection data we need
Medium, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and thread, seal material and whether a lifting device is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Compressed air receivers and pneumatic control units
- Pressure booster plants, air side
- Paint spray shops
- Transport, railway and pneumatic braking systems
