GOETZE 810 brass safety valve, atmospheric discharge
Cylindrical brass safety valve with atmospheric discharge through outlet apertures, 1/4" to 2" male thread, 0.2 to 50 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, for compressed air and neutral, non-toxic, non-flammable gases; ASME UV, CRN, KGS and Deutsche Bahn approved.
The 810 is the brass compressed air safety valve in GOETZE’s range and the widest in size: 1/4” to 2” in one cylindrical design that discharges to atmosphere through apertures in the body. It is the standard valve on compressors, air receivers, pneumatic controls and rail vehicles for air and other neutral, non-toxic and non-flammable gases, with set pressures from 0.2 to 50 bar depending on size.
Body and internals are brass CW617N with a stainless steel spring, seals are FKM or PTFE, and the valve comes with or without a twist-type lifting mechanism. Besides PED and TÜV type test 2055 it holds ASME UV, CRN, KGS and KOSHA approvals, a Deutsche Bahn type approval and the main marine class approvals.
Selection data we need
Medium, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and thread, seal material and whether a lifting device is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Compressors and compressed air receivers
- Pressure booster plants, air side
- Pneumatic control units and paint spray shops
- Transport and railway applications
