GOETZE 651mSK diaphragm safety valve for solar heating systems
All-metal gunmetal diaphragm safety valve for closed, intrinsically safe solar thermal systems with flow temperatures to 120 °C, 1/2" to 1" with enlarged outlet, 2 to 10 bar, TÜV SOL type tested under DIN 4757 and EN 12976; 651mSK VA variant with stainless steel wetted parts.
The 651mSK is GOETZE’s safety valve for solar thermal circuits: an all-metal gunmetal diaphragm valve type tested as a SOL valve under DIN 4757 and EN 12976 for closed, intrinsically safe solar systems with water or water-glycol as heat transfer fluid and flow temperatures to 120 °C. All materials are good for 160 °C, so the valve survives the ambient and radiation temperatures found in solar stations.
Set pressures run from 2 to 10 bar in 1/2” to 1” with an outlet one size larger, and the EPDM diaphragm and seal resist glycol up to 100 %. The 651mSK VA is the 1/2” version with a stainless steel body and wetted parts. For solar systems that are not intrinsically safe or run above 120 °C, GOETZE refers to the 451bG and 851bG bellows valves.
Selection data we need
Collector area or system output, set pressure, inlet size, heat transfer fluid and glycol content, and whether stainless steel wetted parts are required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
