GOETZE 651mHIK diaphragm safety valve for heating systems, international
All-metal gunmetal diaphragm safety valve for closed hot water heating systems to 120 °C outside Germany, 1/2" to 1 1/2" with enlarged outlet, 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 bar, PED type examined, with optional gauge connection.
The 651mHIK is the international version of GOETZE’s heating safety valve: the same all-metal gunmetal diaphragm valve as the 651mHNK, but carrying a PED EU type examination instead of the German TÜV H listing, and therefore intended for heating equipment sold outside Germany. It protects closed hot water systems with flow temperatures to 120 °C, discharging the boiler output as hot water and steam when the thermostatic controls fail.
It is offered in 1/2” to 1 1/2” with an outlet one size larger, at 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 bar, with EPDM seals that tolerate glycol up to 100 %. The 1/2” size can be supplied with a G 1/4” gauge connection and matching pressure gauge, which is common on packaged boilers and CHP units.
Selection data we need
Boiler output, set pressure (2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 bar), inlet size, glycol content and whether a gauge connection is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
