GOETZE 492 GOX high-pressure safety valve for oxygen
Gastight high-pressure safety valve for gaseous oxygen and oxygen mixtures with Monel and Stellite inlet body, 1/4" to 3/4" inlet, 50 to 420 bar, −40 °C to +60 °C, BAM tested, for compressors, cylinder packs and medical gas systems.
The 492 GOX is the oxygen version of GOETZE’s high-pressure valve. Gaseous oxygen at hundreds of bar demands materials that do not ignite and a valve that is delivered oil- and grease-free, so the inlet body is Monel with a Stellite seat, the internals are Monel and stainless steel, and the sealing is metal-to-metal. The valve is BAM tested for oxygen service and listed by Air Liquide / CTE and under BG RCI M034.
It is a gastight design with a positionable angled outlet body and no lifting device, in 1/4” to 3/4” inlet sizes with BSP or NPT threads, and set pressures from 50 to 420 bar at −40 °C to +60 °C. Typical duties are oxygen compressors, cylinder packs, filling stations and medical gas supply systems.

Set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and thread type, and the oxygen purity or mixture. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
