GOETZE 461 stainless steel angle safety valve 1/4" to 1/2"
Small stainless steel angle safety valve, 1/4" to 1/2" inlet with 1/2" outlet, 0.5 to 70 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, open or gastight bonnet, for gases, vapours, steam and liquids including hydrogen and hygienic utilities.
The 461 is the smallest stainless steel angle valve in GOETZE’s range: 1/4”, 3/8” or 1/2” inlet with a 1/2” outlet, and set pressures all the way up to 70 bar. It is the valve for instrument lines, small vessels, sterilizers and skid-mounted equipment where a full-size safety valve would be out of proportion, and it is listed for hydrogen service.
Two bonnet versions are offered: the open bonnet with twist-type lifting mechanism or lever for neutral media, and the gastight bonnet without lifting device, which is also the version required for combined gas and liquid duty. Wetted parts are 1.4404, seals are PTFE, PTFE-carbon above 25 bar or EPDM, and the DVGW hygiene listing covers drinking water with EPDM seals.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size, seal material and bonnet version (open with lifting device, or gastight). For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Pressure vessels and systems for gases, vapours and liquids
- Small steam boilers and steam plants
- Chemical plants, desalination, offshore, hydrogen
- Process equipment, medical technology, food and pharma utilities
