GOETZE 460 stainless steel angle safety valve 3/8" to 1"
Compact gastight angle safety valve in cast stainless steel 1.4408, 3/8" to 1", 0.2 to 25 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, one version for gases, vapours, steam and liquids, with ASME UV and DVGW hygiene approval.
The 460 is GOETZE’s compact stainless steel safety valve for small pipe sizes: 3/8” to 1” with a gastight bonnet as the only version, so one type covers gases, vapours, steam and liquids without choosing between open and closed bonnets. Set pressures start at 0.2 bar and go up to 25 bar, which places it on pressure vessels, small steam generators and process skids in stainless steel.
Both bodies are cast 1.4408 with 1.4404 internals, and the seal choice from NBR to PTFE gives −60 °C to +225 °C. The valve carries the full approval set, including ASME UV, KGS and DVGW hygiene for drinking water with EPDM seals, and marine class approvals for offshore and desalination.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, connection size and thread type, seal material and whether a lifting lever is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
