GOETZE 451FL stainless steel flanged safety valve

Flanged version of the 451 stainless steel angle safety valve, DN 15 to DN 50 with DIN PN40 to PN100 or ASME Class 150 to 600 flanges, 0.5 to 70 bar, −60 °C to +400 °C, for steam, gases and liquids.

The 451FL puts GOETZE’s 451 stainless steel angle valve on flanges. It keeps the same trim, seals and bonnet versions as the threaded 451, and adds flanged inlet and outlet in DN 15 to DN 50 with DIN EN 1092-1 PN40, PN63 or PN100 or ASME B16.5 Class 150 to 600, so it fits piping specifications that do not allow threaded safety valves. Set pressures run from 0.5 to 70 bar.

Wetted parts are 1.4404 (316L) with a cast 1.4408 body. The bellows version handles back pressure up to 4 bar and keeps spring and guide away from the medium; the gastight versions protect the environment from non-neutral, flammable or toxic media. Seals from NBR to metal-to-metal give a temperature range from −60 °C to +400 °C, and the valve is approved under PED, TÜV, ASME UV, CRN and the main classification societies.

Selection data we need

Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, back pressure, inlet and outlet size, flange standard and rating, seal material and bonnet version. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.

Applications

  • Pressure vessels and systems for gases, vapours and liquids
  • Steam boilers and steam plants
  • Chemical plants, biogas plants, hydrogen
  • Sterilizers, autoclaves and food, pharma and cosmetics utilities
