GOETZE 4450 stainless steel diaphragm safety valve with enlarged outlet
All-stainless angle safety valve with diaphragm and one size larger outlet, 1/2" to 1" inlet with 3/4" to 1 1/4" outlet, BSP, NPT or clamp inlet, 0.5 to 16 bar, −50 °C to +205 °C, one version for gases, vapours, steam and liquids; ASME UV approved.
The 4450 is the enlarged-outlet companion of the 4420: an all-stainless diaphragm safety valve with 1/2”, 3/4” or 1” inlet and an outlet one size larger, for gases, vapours, steam and liquids at 0.5 to 16 bar. The larger outlet lowers back pressure in the discharge line, which helps on steam and gas duty and on refrigeration circuits.
Wetted parts are 1.4404 with a cast 1.4408 outlet body, the diaphragm keeps the spring housing dry, and the inlet can be BSP, NPT or a DIN 32676-B clamp. Approvals are PED, TÜV type test 2102 and ASME UV; it is the stainless steel counterpart of the gunmetal 645.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and connection (BSP, NPT or clamp), seal and diaphragm material and whether a lifting lever is required. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
