GOETZE 413 stainless steel safety valve for silos and bulk vehicles
Low-pressure cylindrical stainless steel safety valve with diaphragm, deflector and atmospheric discharge, 1/2" to 2" male thread, 0.2 to 6 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, for stationary silos and bulk transport vehicles carrying liquid, granular and dusty media.
The 413 is GOETZE’s safety valve for pneumatically unloaded silos and bulk transport vehicles: a low-pressure valve from 0.2 to 6 bar with atmospheric discharge, a diaphragm that keeps dust and product out of the spring housing, and a stainless steel deflector that directs the discharge away from the operator. It is type tested under TÜV 2003 for gases and for liquid, granular and powdery goods (F/K/S) in line with TRB 801.
The body and internals are stainless steel 1.4404, the inlet is a 1/2” to 2” male thread in BSP, BSP-T or NPT, and a twist-type lifting mechanism is fitted for function testing. Marine approvals from DNV, LR, ABS and BV cover ship-borne bulk containers.
Selection data we need
Medium (powder, granulate or liquid), set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and thread, and seal material. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Stationary silos
- Bulk transport vehicles and their service companies
- Paint spray shops
- Food, pharma and cosmetics utilities
