GOETZE 410 stainless steel safety valve, atmospheric discharge

Cylindrical stainless steel safety valve with atmospheric discharge through outlet apertures, 1/4" to 1" male thread, 0.2 to 50 bar, −60 °C to +225 °C, for compressed air and neutral, non-toxic, non-flammable gases; ASME UV, CRN and KGS approved.

The 410 is GOETZE’s compressed air safety valve in stainless steel: a slim cylindrical valve that screws into the vessel or manifold with a male thread and discharges straight to atmosphere through apertures in the body, so no discharge pipe is needed. It is meant for air and other neutral, non-toxic and non-flammable gases that may be vented freely, in 1/4” to 1” and set pressures from 0.2 to 50 bar.

The all-1.4404 construction suits wet compressed air, waste water plants and food or pharma utilities where brass is not wanted. A twist-type lifting mechanism allows the function test required for air receivers. Approvals include PED, TÜV type test 2055, ASME UV, CRN, KGS and KOSHA, and the main classification societies for marine use.

Selection data we need

Medium, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, inlet size and seal material. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.

Applications

  • Compressed air receivers and pneumatic control units
  • Pressure booster plants, air side
  • Waste water treatment plants
  • Transport, railway and pneumatic braking systems, food and pharma utilities
