GOETZE 355 nodular cast iron flanged safety valve
Full-lift angle safety valve in spheroidal graphite cast iron with DIN PN40 or PN16 flanges, DN 15 to DN 100, 0.2 to 40 bar, −10 °C to +350 °C, for steam, gases and liquids.
The 355 is the economical body material in GOETZE’s flanged full-lift family: spheroidal graphite cast iron with a stainless steel seat, for boilers, steam plants and general industrial service from −10 °C to +350 °C. It shares the angle body, single trim and replaceable seat of the 455 and 255, in DN 15 to DN 100 with set pressures from 0.2 to 40 bar.
The bonnet versions are the same: open, bellows for back pressure up to 30 % of the set pressure, gastight, and gastight with bellows. Inlet flanges are PN40, outlet PN16; on DN 65 and DN 100 a PN16 inlet is available as well. Approvals cover PED, TÜV type test 2094 for steam, gases and liquids, and the main classification societies.
The 355bHL is the hot water version with EPDM bellows for heating and district heating systems to 120 °C under TRD 721 and EN 12828.
Selection data we need
Medium and state, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, back pressure, inlet and outlet size, flange rating, seal material and bonnet version. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.
Applications
- Industrial and commercial boiler plants
- Steam plants
- Chemical plants and biogas plants
- Industrial gas production, shipbuilding
