GOETZE 2400 stainless steel cryogenic safety valve

Full-lift stainless steel angle safety valve for cryogenic liquefied gases, 1/4" to 1 1/2", 0.2 to 70 bar, −200 °C to +200 °C, oil- and grease-free, FDA-listed PTFE seal, TPED and ADR/RID compliant, for LIN, LOX, LAr, CO2, LNG and hydrogen.

The 2400 is GOETZE’s safety valve for cryogenic liquefied gases: a full-lift stainless steel angle valve rated from −200 °C to +200 °C for the storage and transport of LIN, LOX, LAr, CO2 and LNG, and listed for hydrogen. It is delivered oil- and grease-free as standard, with an FDA-approved PTFE O-ring seal, so it can be used on oxygen (to 40 bar and 60 °C) and on gases that touch foodstuffs.

The valve is built to DIN EN 13648-1 for cryogenic vessels as well as ISO 4126-1, complies with TPED and ADR/RID for transportable tanks, and carries ASME UV, CRN and KGS approvals and marine class certificates including KR. Sizes run from 1/4” to 1 1/2” inlet with outlets up to 2”, set pressures from 0.2 to 70 bar, and the bonnet is open or gastight.

Selection data we need

Gas, set pressure, required discharge capacity, operating pressure and temperature, whether the tank is stationary or transportable (TPED), inlet and outlet size and thread type, and bonnet version. For a replacement, the type code and nameplate data are enough.

Applications

  • Storage tanks and pipelines for cryogenic liquefied gases
  • Transport tanks under TPED and ADR/RID
  • Tunnel freezers, dry ice blasting, liquid nitrogen dosing, cryogenic machining
  • Medical gases, food-contact cryogenics, hydrogen
