BS&B SKR-U / LPS-U / RLS-U union disks

Reverse buckling disks for ½" and 1" lines in the threaded UR-2 union holder. SKR-U 4 to 34.5 bar, LPS-U 0.35 to 4.8 bar, RLS-U for higher pressures. Non-fragmenting.

Not every relief point has flanges. For ½” and 1” threaded lines BS&B offers the UR-2 union holder, a two-piece threaded body that clamps a reverse buckling disk between its halves. Three disks are available for it: the SKR-U for standard pressures, the LPS-U for low pressures down to 350 mbar and the RLS-U for high pressures.

The result is a compact, non-fragmenting relief device that can operate at 90 % of its burst pressure, resist full vacuum and protect instruments, small pumps or analyser loops without the size and cost of a flanged safety head.
