GLAUNACH H₂ purge silencer
Absorptive hydrogen silencer for purging and venting with very low pressure loss, for fuel cell systems and electrolysis plants where back pressure is not acceptable.
Where high back pressure or pressure loss in the vent line is not acceptable, the purge silencer reduces noise mainly by absorption. Hydrogen is vented with very low pressure loss while the flow noise is still cut effectively. It is the usual choice on fuel cell systems and electrolysis plants.

Hydrogen state (gaseous or liquid), mass flow, inlet pressure and temperature, allowable back pressure, inlet size, required noise level, discharge direction and hazardous-area requirements, design code (PED, ASME), quantity.
