LED illumination for Magnicator flag indicators, readable day and night from many angles, Class I Div 1 and ATEX / IECEx Ex db [ib] IIB+H2 T4, 120 or 240 VAC, process temperature up to 600 °F (316 °C) with air purge kit.
NightStar makes a magnetic level indicator readable at any time of day. An array of bright LEDs shines on the mechanical flags, so operators can check the level in the dark without a torch and from many positions, which shortens the time they spend in process areas.
The power supply is explosion-proof and the lighting circuit intrinsically safe, approved for Class I Div 1 and Zone 1 with ATEX and IECEx markings. The LEDs have a nominal life of ten years. For process temperatures above 450 °F an air purge kit on the indicator extends the limit to 600 °F.
NightStar can be fitted in the field on any Jerguson magnetic indicator, or on another manufacturer’s gage by replacing both float and indicator.
