Domed single-section metal explosion vent with integral gaskets, rectangular 230 × 305 mm to 1130 × 1727 mm and round 406 to 1118 mm. The dome resists vacuum and vacuum cycling. NFPA 68 and ATEX tested.
Most dust-handling equipment runs under suction, and that is what breaks flat explosion vents: repeated vacuum cycles fatigue the panel until it fails early or, worse, leaks. The VSP (rectangular) and VSS (round) solve this with a domed single-section design. The dome stands up to vacuum and to thousands of vacuum cycles while still opening reliably at its low static burst pressure when a deflagration occurs.
Gaskets are integral, so the vent is delivered ready to bolt onto the frame, and it is designed not to fragment on opening. Over 100 standard sizes are available; each is tested to NFPA 68 and ATEX so the vent efficiency used in the sizing calculation is documented.

Vessel volume and strength (Pred), dust explosion class (Kst, Pmax), static activation pressure required, operating vacuum and temperature, available mounting area, and whether the vent discharges outdoors or needs a flameless module.
