Ritec partnerBS&B Vent-Saf EXP-V vacuum-supported explosion vent
Flat composite explosion vent with slotted 316 stainless top, FEP/PTFE seal and an inlet-side light-duty vacuum support, 230 × 305 mm to 1130 × 1727 mm.
Where the process runs under a modest vacuum but the corrosion or temperature conditions call for a composite vent, the EXP-V adds a light-duty vacuum support on the inlet side of the EXP design. The support carries the seal against the suction so the fluoropolymer membrane is not stressed in the reverse direction, and it clears the opening path when the vent activates.
Everything else is EXP: slotted 316 stainless top section, FEP or PTFE seal, integral gaskets and the same range of rectangular sizes.

Vessel volume and strength (Pred), Kst and Pmax, static activation pressure, operating vacuum and temperature, medium.
Applications
- Dust collectors and filters under light suction
- Dryers with slight negative pressure
- Corrosive dusts where a composite vent is preferred
- Retrofit of EXP vents on equipment that turned out to see vacuum
