Reliance BG and TG Series bronze lever operated water gage valves
Bronze lever operated water gage valve sets for boiler steam service to 450 psi (31 bar): 12 models with 1/2" or 3/4" male NPT or 3/4" Class 300 RF vessel connections, quarter-turn quadruple stem thread, optional ball checks, built to the ASME Boiler Code.
Reliance bronze water gage valves are high-grade valves for boiler gage glasses in steam service up to 450 psi. Bodies and packing nuts are made of bronze that meets the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, and the seats are integral.
A quadruple stem thread takes the valve from fully open to fully closed in a quarter turn, and the lever has 18 positions. Chains and handles show whether each valve is open or closed, as the ASME Boiler Code requires, and the lower valve has a 3/8 inch drain for blowdown. Valves are supplied as sets of upper and lower valve with two five-foot chains.
Twelve models cover threaded and flanged vessel connections and 250 or 450 psi ratings, some with ball checks. Clark-Reliance does not recommend tubular glass above 250 WSP; for higher pressures use prismatic or flat glass gages, and above 450 psi the SG steel valves.
