KITO VD/KG-BEH-6-IIB3 pressure and vacuum relief valve, endurance burning proof

End-of-line pressure and vacuum relief valve with integrated flame arrester, endurance burning and deflagration proof, explosion groups IIA1 to IIB3, DN50 to DN100.

This valve combines the pressure and vacuum function of the VD/KG with the endurance-burning-proof BEH-6 element. It is chosen where an ignited vapour cloud could keep burning on the vent for a long time, for example on tanks that outbreathe flammable vapour for hours during filling.

It is available from DN50 to DN100 with the same settings, materials and accessories as the other VD/KG valves.

Selection data we need

Tank volume and pump in/out rates, product and flash point, required pressure and vacuum settings, nominal size and connection standard, blanketing gas if any, and required accessories. We size with the KITO KISS program per ISO 28300 / API 2000.

Applications

  • Tanks where a stabilised flame at the vent must be expected
  • Tanks with frequent or long outbreathing of flammable vapour
  • Smaller solvent and fuel tanks
