KITO EV/o emergency relief valve

Weight-loaded emergency pressure relief valve for fixed-roof tanks, DN100 to DN600, settings 5 to 100 mbar, for fire exposure and other emergency venting cases.

The EV/o is a full-lift emergency vent: a large weight-loaded cover that lifts off its seat at the set pressure and releases the vapour generated when a tank is exposed to fire. It is sized per ISO 28300 / API 2000 for the fire case and typically mounted on a dedicated nozzle or manhole.

KITO recommends the EV/o next to the VD/KG-PA-IIB3 breather valve on fixed-roof tanks with flammable liquids. Sizes run from DN100 to DN600 in steel or stainless steel 1.4301.

Selection data we need

Tank volume and pump in/out rates, product and flash point, required pressure and vacuum settings, nominal size and connection standard, blanketing gas if any, and required accessories. We size with the KITO KISS program per ISO 28300 / API 2000.
