Mecesa Megalok double-ferrule compression fittings

Double-ferrule compression tube fittings for instrument tubing from vacuum to high pressure: connectors, elbows, tees, crosses, unions, bulkheads, caps and plugs, in stainless steel and other alloys, with NPT, ISO 7, ISO 228 or DIN 3852 threads.

Megalok is Mecesa’s double-ferrule compression fitting for instrument tubing. Each fitting consists of a body with a seat for the tube, two ferrules and a nut. When the nut is tightened the front ferrule seals against the body and the tube, while the registered back ferrule grips the tube and holds it against pressure and vibration. Assembly needs no special care: the thread finish on the nut prevents galling and the design does not allow the excessive tightening that damages a joint.

The same fitting is made in stainless steel and in other alloys, and it takes stainless steel, carbon steel, copper or plastic tube. That makes it usable from vacuum to high pressure, in food plants and laboratories, on corrosive acids, in hydraulic and gas systems, at high temperatures and in cryogenic service.
